Grief happens in different spaces and places. By the river, on a park bench, in a library, along a trail, in a place of worship, or in a favourite restaurant.
The places gathered here were shared by Indigenous, Black, and racialized young people who reflect on where they have found support, comfort, or connection in their grief. Not always safe, but sometimes safer.
We hope this map serves as a resource for finding spaces to spend time with your grief. We also hope it invites reflection on the places that have been meaningful in your own life.
